Our collection has an emphasis on traditional designs but we also have a small selection of modern designs.
All of the rugs we offer are hand knotted. We don't sell cheap mass produced machine made rugs. You should beware of rugs being sold as hand made where the actual weaving of the pile has been done on a machine and the only hand made aspect has been the finishing process. You can be assured that each of our rugs has been made completely by hand using traditional weaving techniques passed down through the generations.
When you buy one of our rugs you are helping to support the traditional weaving industry, much of which has died out as the world has developed and manufacturing costs have increased but there are still a few countries with the necessary skills to produce these fine works of art.
